Hello Folks!
I hope you’re all well. Tonight for tea, I made this delicious basil pesto pasta! You can buy pesto in a jar anywhere these days…but there’s nothing quite like fresh, home-made pesto :) Stir this through your favourite pasta and you’re good to go! Add some chicken to make it more of a substantial meal.
Everything I used will be below.

What I used - Serves 2 - 3 adults (depending on portion size)
2 Garlic cloves
30g (1 oz) Parmesan Cheese, Grated
40g (1.4 oz) Pine nuts
100g (3.5 oz) Basil leaves
5 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon ground Black Pepper
100ml (3.5 oz) Reserved pasta water
A handful of sliced baby tomatoes (optional)
300g Thick spaghetti (or whatever pasta you prefer)
Parmesan Cheese, black pepper and Basil to serve.
** I added a sliced chicken breast to the top of mine**
